Kenneth Wright moved to Nashville, TN, almost twelve years ago, to sing and write songs like so many others before him. “Making it” wasn’t as important as making a difference on the musical landscape of Music City. The South Carolina native approached his career the only way he knew how to approach anything…by going to work.  Over the past twelve years, Wright’s band has changed with a long list of players considered Hostile Witnesses. What doesn’t change is the music. According to The Rage, “It’s black label blues.” The Scene compares him to Delbert McClinton. If you haven’t caught Kenneth and The Hostile Witnesses there are plenty of opportunities. He plays regularly in Nashville at B.B. Kings and Bailey’s on Broadway. He was the Grand Marshall for the SC Peach Festival this past summer. Now he’s back  from Nashville for afew days to get back to his home town roots.  Kenneth will be backed by his long time friend David “Shag” Stepp and the Back Alley Blue Band here this saturady night.
